We made some predictions about the All-Star reserves a few days ago, and it definitely seems as though a large portion of our predictions came true. A number of predictions were easier than others, but it is definitely good to see that we got a lot of things correct.

There were definitely other deserving candidates out there, such as James Harden. The coaches definitely had a tough time with the selections this year, and it seems as though every year, someone gets snubbed. Perhaps those players can make it in the future, and the talent in the league makes getting a spot that much more competitive.

The All-Star Game Is Bound To Be A Hit This Year

There is no doubt that all the selected players are having fantastic seasons, both within the starters and the reserves. For certain players, like Tyrese Haliburton and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, this marks their first All-Star selection. Others, like Paul George and Damian Lillard, are legends of the game who have consistently been selected throughout their careers. This selection is important for all the players for different reasons, and it is good to see the selected players get recognized.

It remains to be seen what the All-Star teams are going to look like, as the captains have not yet selected their rosters. Based on the talent involved, this could be one of the best All-Star games in recent memory, and we’ll see more excitement from fans as we get closer to the date of the game.
