The Miami Heat have recently won Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics on their home court. There is no doubt that this is a good start for the team in the series, and they are one step closer to making the NBA Finals.

Jimmy Butler had a spectacular night, tallying 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. There’s no doubt that he’s solidifying his status as a superstar in this game, and he has been spectacular thus far in the playoffs.

A lot of NBA Fans reacted to the Heat’s victory against the Celtics. Many lauded Jimmy Butler for willing the Miami Heat to a win, and it is clear that their offense absolutely needs Jimmy Butler to function at a high level in the playoffs.

The Miami Heat were obviously the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference for a reason, and they are an elite defensive team. They have a good chance to win this series, even if there are some who believe that the Boston Celtics have the edge here due to their star power.

After the Miami Heat were eliminated in the first round last year, there were definitely a large number of people who suggested that they only played well in 2020 because of the NBA bubble. It is clear that this is not the case, and they are truly an elite team, bubble or not.

It remains to be seen if the Miami Heat will end up winning this year’s championship. If they beat the Boston Celtics, they will face either the Golden State Warriors or the Dallas Mavericks, none of which are easy matchups. However, the Miami Heat do have a well-disciplined team that’s been to the Finals before, so perhaps we’ll end up seeing them win the championship this time around.
