Devin Booker is one of the league’s best scorers, and with the way the Phoenix Suns have been going these last few seasons, has come into his own as an NBA superstar. Booker has been responsible for a lot of the Suns’ success during their run to the Finals and their subsequent excellent regular season, even though there have been some bitter failures along the way as well.

This season is not going as well as last season was for the team. They spent some time atop the Western Conference but have since fallen off. Players like Deandre Ayton have spoken about being focused on the postseason, but it’s not much of an excuse for the way Phoenix has been playing. They are a game and a half out of the play-in spots, and the latest report on Devin Booker‘s health is not a good sign for them.

“Suns star Devin Booker will miss at least four weeks with a left groin strain, team says.”

Devin Booker already missed some time through injury, but he played in a recent loss to the Denver Nuggets. That seems to have exacerbated the issue, and Booker is now out for a crucial month for the Suns. This is pretty terrible news for the team, and while their fans aren’t happy about it, other NBA fans have a lot to say about the situation too.

NBA Fans Don’t Believe In The Phoenix Suns Following The Latest Devin Booker Injury Update

The Phoenix Suns did handily beat the Memphis Grizzlies without Devin Booker but have lost 4 of the 6 games he has not been active for. And with the news coming out that this injury will keep him out for a bit, fans were quick to troll the Suns as well.

“As if the West is not wide open enough.”

“The Suns are headed for the play-in tournament.”

“Phoenix has fallen off entirely.”

“Let’s go, we smoking that Suns pack.”

“This is not what I needed to hear today.”

“Alright, James Jones. Let’s go get Kuzma, Rozier, someone of note.”

“Rushed back just for an L and a groin strain against the Nuggets you hate to see it.”

“This team is nothing without Booker.”

“Man, the Suns season really is going from bad to worse.”

“That’s so unnecessary man, I love watching D Book play.”

“I really hope he recovers soon.”

Devin Booker has been averaging 27 points a game; any team would miss that if the player cannot play. But they have to find a way to get through this month. The Suns struggled with the No. 1 seed last season. Their playoff hopes might get dashed if they cannot keep it together during Booker’s absence and end up as a lower seed.
