LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers picked up an important win against the Houston Rockets last night. Against his former team, Russell Westbrook stepped up and delivered a solid performance, scoring 20 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds. Fans were thrilled with the way the Lakers played.

As for James, he had a slow shooting night, but still put up 15 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. James’ hot start from the three-point line seems to have dissipated, as he went 0-6 from three during the game. But that wasn’t the biggest talking point concerning the King during the game.

At one point in the broadcast, cameras caught a glimpse of LeBron James running back. But behind him, in the stands, was a fan that looked almost identical to LeBron James, sitting and eating popcorn, watching the Lakers beat the Rockets at Staples Center.

Fans were quick to come with jokes, mostly about how LeBron may have figured out a way to travel back in time. All in all, it was a harmlessly hilarious moment during the game, of something that we don’t usually see.

The fan clearly did bear a striking resemblance to LeBron James. But clearly, that has been chalked up as a freak coincidence. Regardless of the doppelganger, James and the Lakers were able to secure an important win, as the trio of James, Russ, and Anthony Davis continue to try and build chemistry.

The Lakers will play the Rockets once again this coming Tuesday and will hope to replicate a similar performance. LeBron James will be hoping to improve his three-point shooting in the game and find the range he had at the start of the season.

He and Russell Westbrook are slowly but surely starting to gel going forward. Regardless of the reasons, the Lakers will be hoping that this is a sign of things to come.
