LeBron James has once again made history in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers star finally surpassed Kobe Bryant for the third spot on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, and the rest of the association celebrated with him such a big milestone.
LBJ broke Kobe’s record on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Needing just 18 points to move past the Black Mamba’s 33,643 points entering the game. It wasn’t until the third quarter of the game when James made history.
As expected, former and current NBA players quickly reacted to the impressive feat, with most of them taking to Twitter to congratulate The King.
Even Kobe himself congratulated the King, showing his respect to the Lakers’ new leader.
Nobody knows what LeBron is going to do from this point to the end of his career. Only time will tell how high on this list will end up and what other records he set or broke during his tenure in the NBA.
