The Brooklyn Nets suffered another loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, going 2-0 down against the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference. The C’s took care of business and even though the Brooklynites entered the second half with a 10-point advantage, Boston made the adjustments and gave Steve Nash’s team their second loss of this series.
The Nets were outscored by 17 points in the second half, losing the game 114-107. Kevin Durant played as bad or worse than in Game 1, making several turnovers against the Celtics defense that have dominated him during the first two clashes of the series.
Skip Bayless, one of Kevin Durant’s biggest fans in the media, made a U-turn and started attacking the 2x NBA champion. After things started going south for the Nets, Bayless took to Twitter to show his frustration with the player and his team.
KEVIN DURANT HAS TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE. COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED AND OVERMATCHED BY A CELTS DEFENSE THAT'S TURNING HIM INTO A TURNOVER MACHINE. PULL YOUR HEAD OUT, MAN.

After the game was over, he took a big shot at Durant and Kyrie Irving, while also adding his favorite victim to the mix, Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James. Bayless warned the Nets that they are close to going on vacation, just like the King.

Skip kept taking shots at Durant, criticizing his performance against the Celtics, who look like one of the best teams in the East right now.

After a hard-fought Game 1, fans expected a similar game last night. This didn’t happen and the Celtics go to New York with a good advantage. Things could still change in the next two matches, but right now, the Nets look lost, especially with their best player struggling to make an impact.
Steve Nash has been criticized for his lack of adjustments, too, so the job looks very difficult for this squad right now. Still, anything can happen in the playoffs and fans in Brooklyn surely expect the team shows a better face in the upcoming games.
