Stephen Curry is widely known for being the best shooter of all time. After all, he became a unanimous MVP and won 3 championships due to his prowess from range.

Recently, though, Stephen Curry has been in somewhat of a shooting slump. Since December 1st, he is only shooting 38.4% from the field and 34.4% from beyond the arc.

After the recent Warriors-Jazz game, Stephen Curry was asked about how he feels about his shot. Curry refused to give a reason for his poor shooting, rhetorically asking “who gives a damn about excuses?”

Who gives a damn about excuses? Nobody wants to hear about why… You either makes shots or you miss shots. I gotta start making some shots… It’s a big picture perspective on how you approach the game, the work that you put in. It’s obviously frustrating. I want to shoot the ball… I kicked a chair the other day for that reason. It’s not like I don’t care. I try to figure it out. But I don’t get preoccupied with it… I need to make shots to get to the level we want to be at. Other than that, not worried about it.

Hopefully, we see Stephen Curry snap out of his shooting slump in the future. He has definitely had stretches where he gets scorching hot and perhaps we’ll see that happen to him in the future. The Warriors have maintained their position as a top seed even with Stephen Curry struggling, and once he gets back to his regular self, the Warriors will be amazing offensively.

It is good to see the Golden State Warriors go back to being a good team. They have endured a tough couple of years, but perhaps it will all be worth it. Some believe that the Golden State Warriors will win the 2021-22 NBA championship, and they definitely have the talent to go all the way.
