Despite the final result, the game was neck and neck for a long period of time, in part due to the effort of Kevin Porter Jr. has been a revelation for the Houston Rockets, and he seems to have solidified a spot in their future plans.

Kevin Porter Jr. has clearly improved since his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Houston Rockets got Kevin Porter Jr. for almost nothing, only giving up a second-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood have made the Rockets’ rebuild exciting, and the Houston Rockets definitely have a bright future. While Kevin Porter Jr. still has a lot to learn, it is clear that he has all the tools to become a great player in this league.

Stephen Curry clearly respects Kevin Porter, as he highlighted one of the best game of Porter’s career, and suggested that Porter doesn’t need his help to improve. It is always good to see an older superstar shoutout an exciting young prospect. Kevin Porter Jr. is an elite talent: if he keeps developing, then the Houston Rockets may have a star for years to come.
