Recently, a video of a drive-thru worker meeting Derrick Rose at her drive-thru went viral. According to the caption, Derrick Rose comes through this specific drive-thru every day. The worker was clearly excited to see Rose, but it seems as though he wasn’t as excited as she was.

It makes sense for someone to get hyped when seeing a player like Derrick Rose, but it is clear that Rose simply wanted to get his order and move on with his day. It is easy to see how fan attention can get annoying for a celebrity like Derrick Rose.

Hopefully, we see Derrick Rose get thru the drive-thru quickly and efficiently in the future. As of now, his focus is likely on next season with the New York Knicks. They recently signed point guard Jalen Brunson, and if their young core develops, they could be a more competitive team next season.
Derrick Rose is one of the veterans that head coach Tom Thibodeau trusts, and he is perfectly suited to his role as a backup point guard currently. Perhaps we see Derrick have a productive season, and the New York Knicks will certainly need him to play well if they are to make it back to the playoffs after being a disappointing team in the Eastern Conference during the 2021-22 season.
