The Golden State Warriors won their fourth championship during the Stephen Curry era in 2022. There's no doubt that they have been a successful franchise during the 2010s, and now, it looks as though they have the chance to continue winning championships in the future.

A big part of any franchise's success is ownership decisions. The Golden State Warriors have one of the best front offices in sports, and a governor in Joe Lacob that is willing to pay lots of luxury tax to succeed. The Warriors notably had the highest salary bill in NBA history this past season.

Joe Lacob has recently gone on The Point Forward podcast with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner. Lacob claimed that he is "about only one thing", and that is "winning championships".

The truth of the matters is that I'm only about one thing... That's winning and winning championships. I'm maniacal, that's all I care about. That's it. We've done really well, we've won 4 in 8 years... made 6 finals in 8 years... That's my goal, is have this team be great.

The Golden State Warriors still have their original big three on the roster, but they also have an elite young core featuring players like Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga. They clearly have younger players that can take over as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson age, and perhaps that means Stephen Curry could get to six or more championships in the future. Some people already believe Stephen Curry is the best player ever behind Michael Jordan, and him winning more championships would definitely make that less of a hot take.

Only time will tell how many championships the Golden State Warriors will end up winning. They have a good chance of repeating next season, and we'll see if they are able to do so.
