Zach LaVine’s tenure on the Chicago Bulls could be coming to an end soon, as the shooting guard is now struggling to get things going in Windy City, just like the rest of the team. LaVine was expected to lead this squad to the playoff again alongside DeMar DeRozan, but things aren’t working right now, and Zach is getting tired of that.
The Bulls currently rank 11th on the Eastern Conference standings, posting a 16-21 record. Things have been terrible for them in recent days, and the rumors about a rift between their players get bigger every day. All three DeRozan, LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic have been linked with a move away from the team, although nothing has happened so far.
Meanwhile, more reports keep coming about the Bulls and their players. Zach has been reportedly frustrated with the direction of the team, and now a team insider might have confirmed that.
Zach LaVine Isn’t Happy On The Bulls Right Now
According to NBC Sports Chicago Insider K.C. Johnson (via Clutch Points), Zach is not so sure about his role on the team. Johnson clarifies that LaVine isn’t trying to knock on anybody, but he knows what he brings to the table every single game.
“I sourced that out,” Johnson said on Monday edition of the ‘Bulls Talk Podcast.’ “The Athletic started it, and then I did some checking. Zach’s a professional, he’s a team player, but he’s got a lot of confidence in himself.
“This is not like him being jealous of (forward DeMar DeRozan). He knows how good DeMar DeRozan is.”
This is a big issue for the Bulls, who are nothing like the exciting team that made the playoffs last season. Perhaps a change of air for their stars or even a change at the helm will be the right path for them. It’s unclear how this situation will play out for them, but in case they want to blow things up, they won’t miss suitors for their stars.
