Zaire Wade Gave Ben Simmons, Jordan Clarkson Buckets In Pickup Game

It’s not unusual to see the top-ranked high school prospects -especially if they’re the sons of NBA legends- working out in the offseason with real pros.

That’s why when they take a step forward and make it to the NBA, are already familiar with the pace of the game, the physicality, and are unfazed about playing side by side and against big personalities.

And if you could think of a young hooper who’s spent his entire life surrounded by elite talent, that’s definitely Zaire Wade.

His father aside, Zaire grew up with Chris Paul, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony as his uncles. So, he’s definitely used to watching and playing against the best of the best.

If you don’t take our word for it, just watch the footage below. The Flash’s elder son was giving Ben Simmons and Jordan Clarkson hell in a pickup game, looking as sharp and promising as you’d expect given his gene pool.

Athleticism clearly runs in the Wade family. Zaire was putting up some nice dunks, running the floor, and looking like just another player among men.

Zaire just turned 19 and is still undecided about his future in college. He didn’t get much playing time at Sierra Canyon high school so he transferred to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

And, even though he’s not the highest-touted recruit in the nation, given who his father is, he’s a lock to make it to the NBA. There’s just too much upside about having a Wade on your team to not consider at least working him out.
