NBA Rumors: 10 Different Players From Various Teams Are Available For Trade

3 Min Read

While a lot of big-name free agents have been signed to long-term deals, it is still possible for teams to make trades to bolster their rosters until the trade deadline. There are plenty of teams who are looking to contend next season, and perhaps we could see more moves sooner rather than later.

Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com has recently listed a number of players who have been made available for trade by various teams around the league. The Cleveland Cavaliers were reportedly looking for a rotational wing player, and there were 10 names listed by Fedor within that context.

The chatter in Vegas centered on the Cavs’ continued hunt for a rotational wing. Even though the Ricky Rubio trade addressed a critical need for another capable ball-handler and reliable veteran to help support the young core, it meant the departure of Taurean Prince, who was one of the team’s best 3-point shooters after arriving from Brooklyn last season.

Any — and all — impactful free agents are gone. The Cavs spoke with the New Orleans Pelicans about the possibility of a Josh Hart sign-and-trade, sources tell cleveland.com, but that possibility apparently vanished Monday, when Hart moved closer to a three-year, $38 million deal to stay in New Orleans. Cleveland has also explored the trade market. Kyle Anderson, Terrence Ross, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish, T.J. Warren, Thaddeus Young, Tobias Harris, Jeremy Lamb and Harrison Barnes are all said to be available. Reddish is a player the Cavs liked in the 2019 draft. They’ve been in contact with Atlanta about him. But wings don’t come cheap.

There are a lot of solid veterans on the list that can fulfill different roles. There are some solid scorers on the list such as T. J. Warren, Tobias Harris, and Terrence Ross. There are also defensive-minded players such as Kyle Andreson and Thaddeus Young. and some elite shooters such as Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic. A lot of these players could fit on a wide range of teams around the league. While it remains to be seen if a trade featuring one of these players materializes, it looks as though any of them getting moved is a possibility.
