It seems like PJ Tucker is ready to have an entertaining month this March, as several teams have reportedly shown interest in the Houston Rockets big man. The veteran has always been good at this job; he might not be the tallest player of all but he always fights to make the plays, to get the rebound, and help his teammates.

The trade deadline is approaching and it’ll hit next March 25, with Tucker ready to leave the struggling Rockets and join a contender to help them improve their level. Shams Charania of The Athletic writes that several teams are interested in the player and every name on the list is big.

Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is in line to be a heavily pursued player by the NBA’s contender as the March 25 trade deadline approaches.

Sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania that the Nets, Bucks, Heat, Nuggets, and Lakers are among the teams expressing interest in trading for Tucker. The timing of a deal is dependent on the Rockets’ asking price, per Charania.

After an 11-10 start to the season, the Rockets have dropped to 14th in the Western Conference during a 13-game losing streak. Tucker, 35, is averaging 4.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and is shooting 32.1 percent from 3-point range this season, but has averaged 36.6 percent from 3 in three seasons in Houston and has a reputation as one of the league’s toughest defenders.

Every single team there could be really good for Tucker. He can be a good addition to any of them and he’s ready to find a new challenge in the league. The Rockets have struggled to get things going this season and Tucker is ready to get out of there.

This trade deadline is expected to be a very entertaining one and this is one of the names you should pay attention to in the next weeks.
