NBA Twitter In Shock After Bucks Lose Game 3, Fall In 3-0 Hole Against Heat

For the second season in a row, the Milwaukee Bucks had the best regular-season record in the NBA and, for the second season in a row, they’ve got nothing to show for it.

Technically speaking, the Bucks are still alive. Giannis is a world-class talent and if anybody has the ability to come back, it’s this team. But coming back from a 3-0 hole is something that has never been done in the NBA before and Milwaukee isn’t going to be the first unless some serious, serious changes/adjustments are made.

Needless to say, it looks like the end of the line for the Bucks this season and after such a dominant run, nobody can say they were expecting this. On Twitter, the basketball community was buzzing with reactions and analysis on the game.

This MVP award is about to get real awkward…

Let's face it: The Heat are better. They're deeper and their team's best player can hit his 3s and free throws. Erik Spoelstra has also made Mike Budenholzer look worse than Jim Boylen. It's surprising Miami is up 3-0, yet we've been saying for months the Heat can beat the Bucks.

Is Giannis still a Top 5 player if the Heat sweep the Bucks?

— Hoop Central (@TheHoopCentral) September 5, 2020

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra says the key for his team in a possible sweep game against the Bucks in Game 4 is being “competitively humble.”

The job is not yet finished for Miami. Despite going into Game 4 with a 3-0 lead, you can expect them to come out with energy, passion, and togetherness in order to finish this series off as quickly as possible.

For the Bucks, this is pretty close to the worst-case scenario. With so many questions surfacing about the future, who knows what this team will look like come next season. For now, though, they’re just trying to stop the bleeding.
