As the NBA’s newest superteam, the basketball community has some really big expectations for the Brooklyn Nets this season.

So when they lost their first game with all three stars together, it’s only natural that they become the joke of social media, especially considering their defeat came at the hands of a much young and less talented Cavs team.

Collin Sexton was pretty unreal on Wednesday night, dropping 42 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in the big win.

For the Nets, it was obviously not the start they were hoping for and it’s probably best if the team stays off Twitter for the next few days.

Needless to say, however, this Cleveland defeat is probably not what we can come to expect from this squad going forward. But, for now, it doesn’t mean the memes will be lightening up…
