Luka Doncic and LeBron James are no strangers to on-court theatrics, but their latest exchange with Golden State Warriors rookie Quinten Post might be one of the spiciest moments of the NBA season — and leaked game audio captured it all.

In the midst of the Lakers’ 123-116 home loss to the Warriors, a heated back-and-forth erupted between the five-time All-Star Doncic and the 7-foot Dutch rookie. After drawing a foul on Post, Luka couldn’t help but laugh when Post accused him of foul baiting. But the laughter quickly turned into a sharp verbal jab.

“I know your a** ain’t talking,” Luka snapped at Post, smirking and the rookie tried to defend himself, responding, “What are you talking about?” — but by then, the moment had already ignited a sequence of chirping that brought in some of the league’s biggest names.

Luka then delivers the dagger: “You’re a p***y.”

Quinten Post then approached LeBron James, possibly looking for backup or an explanation. Instead, he found himself on the receiving end of another savage line. “Huh? You’re talking about me?” LeBron said, bewildered before unloading: “You’re a f***ing bum.”

Post barely had time to register it before Draymond Green jumped in, trying to shield his teammate.

“Don’t talk to him, don’t talk to him,” Green yelled at LeBron, trying to de-escalate the verbal barrage.

But LeBron wasn’t done. “I like it, I like it,” he said with a smirk, clearly unfazed and amused by the exchange.

Meanwhile, Luka looked at Draymond and shook his head, gesturing as if to say, “Come on, man,” questioning why Post even thought he had earned the right to talk to them.

Green turned and hyped up his rookie with a loud “Yeah!” as the teams walked to their benches during the timeout.

Though Post played fewer than 15 minutes and recorded just four points and three rebounds, he found himself squarely in the spotlight. To his credit, the rookie didn’t back down — but he definitely got the “welcome to the league” treatment from two of the NBA’s biggest stars.

Luka, who finished with just 19 points on 6-of-17 shooting and missed all six of his threes, later admitted the game wasn’t up to his standard

Still, the trash talk overshadowed even the game’s outcome. Fans couldn’t get enough of the leaked exchange, with clips and quotes going viral across social media. The moment was a reminder that beyond the stats and strategy, the NBA is still built on pride, egos, and a lot of competitive fire.

And for Quinten Post?

He may have lost the war on the scoreboard and in the battle of words, but he walked away with the kind of story that lives forever in NBA lore. Matching up with LeBron and Luka is one thing — drawing their full attention is something entirely different.
