The regular season is over and teams are already preparing for the 2022 playoffs. While there are a few teams still fighting for a spot in the postseason via the play-in tournament, most of the matchups have already been decided.
With the playoffs starting soon, it is also time for players to get recognition for their efforts in the regular season. Today our focus is on the Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic. The Joker is the reigning MVP of the league and has made a compelling case to win the award once again.
In fact, in our predictions for the 2022 regular season awards, we believe that Jokic will be the one to take home the MVP trophy. On that note, Jokic was recently asked by Nuggets reporter Mike Singer about his thoughts on what if he once again won the regular-season MVP award.
Additionally, he was also asked about where he kept the first MVP award that he won last season. Jokic gave a hilarious response to that.
“Asked Nikola Jokic about winning another MVP: ‘If it happens, yeah. great.’
Where do you keep your first MVP award?
‘I don’t know where it is right now, to be honest.’
Said he’s in the middle of moving, and his wife is the caretaker.

Winning the MVP award is a huge honor for NBA players and surely it must have been one for the Denver Nuggets superstar too. But it doesn’t seem like that Jokic is a careful person when it comes to handling the honor.
Let’s give the Nuggets superstar the benefit of the doubt since he mentioned he is currently in the middle of moving. If he wins the award once again, let’s hope he takes better care of the award and will not misplace the award this time around.
