Pat Beverley Roasts Himself With Video About Guarding Devin Booker

Devin Booker continues to blossom as one of the best scorers in the league. He’s money from all three levels and always seems to rise to the occasion. Clearly, playing his first NBA Finals hasn’t intimidated him the slightest.

It’s been years since Booker has been giving the best defenders on Earth buckets. Now, he just happens to be playing at a bigger stage, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

That’s why not even Patrick Beverley could take things personally when it comes to people joking about stopping Devin Booker, as he showed by roasting himself with a hilarious clip on Twitter.

The clip shows Denzel Washington as if he was Beverley, telling Jeff Teague that it’s not so funny anymore now that he has to guard Booker. “By far the funniest one,” Beverley said about the clip.

😂by far funniest 1😂😂 https://t.co/QISNHLw9m9

There’s no shame in being torched by a top-tier scorer such as Devin Booker. He’s one of the most prolific and versatile scores on the planet and just seems to be getting better as the games go by.

The Phoenix Suns are now up 2-0 over the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals and, clearly, the Bucks just have no answer for him in the defensive end of the floor.

And now that the Suns are down two key rotation pieces in Dario Saric and Torrey Craig, that will only mean more minutes and more shots for the Kentucky product.

So yeah, don’t take it personally, Pat, it’s not like there’s anything most people could do to try and keep Devin Booker in check right now.
