The Los Angeles Lakers have tried their best to improve their roster ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season. The iconic franchise had an underwhelming last season and will be hoping not to repeat the same mistakes this time around as well.

The first step towards that would be to sign talented players in the offseason. While the Lakers were linked with the Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving throughout the offseason, the deal ultimately never got completed. Instead, the Purple and Gold decided to trade for Patrick Beverley.

Ever since Pat Bev arrived in L.A., he has been a huge talking point among fans and experts. Most believe that while Beverley is a decent player, he might have trouble adjusting to the team solely because of Russell Westbrook’s presence on the roster.

The two players have a beef that has lasted for years, and suddenly they are now teammates. Obviously, most believe this is a recipe for disaster for the Lakers. But according to a recent report, it has been revealed that Beverley and Westbrook have already gotten in touch and settled their differences.

Evidently, this instantly became viral news and was all over social media. Upon realizing that, Patrick Beverley was initially shocked and how it feels to be a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

So I’m guessing this how it works in LA. Something all the time huh 🤔 We Excited and We hungry. Watch us Work🦍🍿 https://t.co/DtzG0HaKqG

Los Angeles is one of the biggest markets in the NBA. So it’s not a surprise that news travels fast there.

It may take Beverley some time to get used to his new life. While that’s something that Pat Bev will handle off the court, Lakers fans will hope that it will not have any impact on his game and he can help the team make a comeback.
