Patrick Beverley has been called the play-in GOAT over the years because his teams have somehow always won those games since the tournament was introduced. But on Friday night, the Chicago Bulls lost against the Miami Heat and missed their chance to make the playoffs.

Patrick Beverley had a particularly poor game, scoring 0 points for the Chicago Bulls in the loss. He was 0-4 from the field and wasn’t particularly effective on defense, either. And fans on social media were quick to troll him, with one page sharing his stats with the caption, “Patrick Beverley woke up feeling dangerous.”

Beverley played 27 minutes in the loss against the Miami Heat, and a lot of people were joking about him doing cardio on the court. One comment read: “Lmao. Got his 10k steps in.”

Pat Bev is known to talk a lot, it was evident in the way he went at Chris Paul last season. And fans don’t forget, with someone writing, “All that talk for what?”

Beverley isn’t known for being an elite scorer by any means, but having no points at all is objectively a poor performance. As one fan said, “Come on dude. Gotta give your team at least 2 points.”

And when a player talks a lot, fans are always going to be harsh when they can’t back it up. Beverley got roasted pretty heavily by one tweet: “Pat Bev is one of the most overhyped players I’ve ever seen. Dude is all talk, and nothing but talk. Absolute fraud on every level.”

Patrick Beverley Got Trolled As ‘The Spoon’ Because Of What He Said About The Lakers

Many fans called Patrick Beverley ‘The Spoon’ while trolling him after the Bulls’ loss. This was thanks to some comments he made about how the Los Angeles Lakers used him during his time on the team earlier in the season.

“Yeah. If I’m a spoon, Billy is using me as a spoon. The Lakers, you know, I was a spoon, and they used me as a fork.”

The Chicago Bulls did enjoy a great run after they got Beverley, but it was only good enough to get them the 10th seed and eventually didn’t result in a playoff berth. A role player like him usually wouldn’t be subject to roasting for a loss, but Lakers fans seemingly haven’t forgiven or forgotten his disrespectful ‘too small’ celebration toward LeBron James
