The Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs, and there’s no doubt that this was a disappointing outcome for the franchise, who expected to compete for a championship this season.

Recently, Clippers star Paul George sent a message to Clippers fans, vowing to get things right “at some point.” This shows that Paul George cares about the fans, and is understands that the burden is on the players to deliver a championship in the future.

“To the Clippers fans, we carry that burden. We gone get this s**t right at some point”, said George.

The key thing holding the Los Angeles Clippers back is definitely the durability of their stars. Kawhi Leonard was only able to play two games in the playoffs, while Paul George missed the series against the Suns entirely. The emphasis for next season should be improving the star duo’s durability, and ensuring that they are able to make a deep playoff run.

Paul George had a solid season this year, averaging 23.8 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 5.1 APG for the Los Angeles Clippers. He is still a solid two-way player who can be the No. 2 option on a championship contender, and hopefully, he gets a chance to make a playoff run next season.

Andre Iguodala Believes Paul George Is The Second-Most Talented Player In The NBA

There’s no doubt that Paul George has very few flaws as a basketball player and many hold him in high regard. In fact, Andre Iguodala previously claimed that Paul George is the second-most talented player in the NBA, only behind Kevin Durant.

“When you’re selling a basketball shoe, you have to see whose game would you emulate as a hooper. Paul George is the second-most talented player in the NBA. Kevin Durant is the most talented player, I am talking about size and skill set. Both of those guys don’t have a flaw in their basketball skill set.”

This is definitely an interesting take, and the majority of fans likely won’t agree. However, it is fair to say that Paul George is an elite all-around player that can do almost everything on the basketball court. Hopefully, we see Paul George win a championship before he retires. He is already a legend of the game, and that is one of the few things missing from his resume.
