Paul George On Lonzo Ball And LaMelo Ball: “I Think Both Of Them Have The Potential To Be Star Players.”

Lonzo Ball has recently been joined by his brother LaMelo Ball in the NBA, and both are showing that they are solid players this season. In addition to becoming an elite shooter (38.5% from 3PT), Lonzo Ball is scoring a career-high 14.2 PPG, despite being on a team with other scorers. LaMelo Ball is the league’s favorite for the ROTY award and has been tearing defenses apart with his wizard passing. Both Ball brothers clearly have a lot of potential, and will get even better in the future.

Someone who is a believer in the Ball brothers is none other than NBA All-Star, Paul George. Paul George spoke to the media after the recent Hornets-Clippers game, and praised both brothers for their passing ability, adding that they could both become star players.

Paul George on facing Lonzo and Lamelo Ball: "They're really good passers, they're underrated passers. I think both of them have potential to be star players."

Both Ball brothers are amazing passers: that has been their defining trait throughout their time playing basketball, and they are showing that their on-court basketball IQ is elite. They can set up their teammates with ease, and attempt audacious passes with no hesitation. Both are also taller than your average point guard, allowing them to be stifling defensively due to their size and length.

There is a lot to like about the Ball brothers: they are multi-dimensional players, who can provide value on the court in a lot of different ways. They almost never make the wrong play, and won’t be a net negative for a team. Hopefully, Paul George is right. Perhaps in the future, we can see both Ball brothers make an All-Star game.
