After a souring end to the 2019-20 season, Paul George is ready to begin his redemption arc.
In a recent appearance on “All The Smoke” podcast, the 6x All-Star gave a message to his doubters, warning them that he’s as locked-in now as he’s ever been before.
"I'm back with my trainer that I had my MVP season. I'm locked in, as locked in as you can be… I'm on motherf**ker's asses this year."

PG’s poor playoff performance with the Clippers this year brought him a lot of criticism and hate online, by fans who mocked his play and denounced his claim to stardom. The noise only became louder after he signed a 5-year, $226 million extension with the Clippers earlier this week.
It can be easy to forget that this guy was once an MVP candidate back in OKC, when he averaged 28 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game on 43% shooting. At the time, he was among the best two-way players in the league.
If he can replicate that level of play with the Clippers this upcoming campaign, it could spell bad news for the NBA and for his biggest haters.
As a versatile scorer, talented defender, and determined player, he could be well on his way to proving a lot of people wrong.
