Ja Morant is steadily becoming one of the NBA’s most popular players right now. Morant, the former Rookie Of The Year, has been in sensational form this season and is on track to become an All-Star for the first time in his career. And fans have really taken to Morant, with some even trying to be overfamiliar with him.

After the Grizzlies game against the Golden State Warriors, one NBA fan (in the yellow vest) wanted to greet Ja Morant. But he proceeded to dap him up, almost like they were very close friends. It’s safe to say that this fan became a little overfamiliar with Morant after being up close and personal with him.

NBA fans reacted to this fan greeting Ja Morant so closely. Many noted that he shook his hand the way most close friends usually greet themselves and even made it look like they had a personal handshake between themselves.

Nah, he’s gang lowkey. The handshake says it all.

Bro played it off smooth

He give him a kiss?

Peace me up

I thought he kissed that dude

Random fan wouldn’t let go of the handshake. Lmao

He thought he was 4pf

that wasn’t a try he went and got it done

Ja also had another incident with a young NBA fan, when he got upset that a young fan wearing a Stephen Curry jersey tried to give him a high 5. But Ja did compensate by saying that he would send the fan a jersey and convert him into a Memphis Grizzlies fan.

Ja clearly didn’t mind interacting with the fan. But his handshake clearly caught the eye of NBA fans. The way Ja reacted to it shows just how much fun he has been having and actually looked like he enjoyed the way the fan greeted him after the game.
