2x All-Star Bradley Beal isn’t royalty — but he’s sure getting paid like it.

Having inked a 2-year, $72 million contract extension with the Wizards last fall, the 27-year-old shooting guard is among the highest-earning players in the NBA.

To celebrate, he and his wife Kamiah Adams purchased a California crib in Venice for a whopping $6.8 million.

One of the largest homes in L.A.’s hip Venice neighborhood has sold for $6.8 million, according to property records. That number ranks as the seaside enclave’s priciest residential deal of 2020, and the biggest transaction since last November, when Kuwaiti heiress Samar Alghanim paid $8.5 million for her own Venice compound.

The property, which is 7,200 square feet, was just built in 2020 and features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and three separate “living spaces” to lounge, hang out, and enjoy the luxuries of being a multi-millionaire.

Just a couple looks at the photos will reveal just how gorgeous the place is, but questions remain about what it all means.

Beal, who just finished his 8th season with the Wizards, is under contract until at least the 2021-22 season when he can opt-out of his player option and become a free agent.

If he is and his family are going through all the trouble of buying this expensive, luxurious new home in Los Angeles, might it be a sign that he plans on spending more time there? Is there something we don’t know? Are one of the L.A. teams planning a big trade?

There are so many questions, but if somebody other than Beal himself knows the answers, they haven’t been telling.

So far, we have no information on Beal’s long-term plans only that this new home plays some type of role in it all. We will see soon enough.
