Russell Westbrook After 41-PT Performance vs. Nets: “I Was Out There Playing With One Leg”

2 Min Read

Russell Westbrook is back after dropping 41 points on Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets Sunday night with his Washington Wizards. He and Bradley Beal were on a mission and even though the start of the game didn’t look very promising for the Capital team, Brodie improved his level and earned the W for his squad.

He was really great on the floor, showing a lot of energy and trying to push his team to try harder throughout the entire game. He finished the match with 41 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists on 57.1 percent shooting. He wasn’t going to let this game slip and fought until the end to get the victory. The Wizards scored 136 points in almost under 40 minutes, which makes this more impressive.

Brodie was marvelous against the Nets and even his teammate Bradley Beal had high praise for him, saying his game was “beautiful” and he did a great job.

“He was unbelievable tonight on all levels,” Bradley Beal said. “That was beautiful to see.”

It was a great performance by the Wizards, who put the Nets in a very difficult position while they demonstrated they can actually compete. Of course, this was a win against the worst defense in the league but a win is a win.
