The Los Angeles Lakers had yet another setback this season. This time, they lost their second game to the Chicago Bulls, thus ending the season series with the Bulls without a win this season. One prominent Lakers fan was significantly unhappy with their performance, and let them hear it online.

Former NFL player and current NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe took to Twitter to react to the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Chicago Bulls. He rhetorically asked fans to guess what he thinks the Lakers are a bunch of, suggesting that he has something negative to say about them.

Give you 1 guess what the Lakers have a bunch of? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

On the other hand, his co-host Skip Bayless was enjoying seeing the Lakers lose. He used this loss to take yet another shot at LeBron James, saying that DeMar DeRozan out-performed LeBron James at the United Center, and that was the bottom line. Skip got yet another arrow in his quiver when it comes to critiquing LeBron James.

Bottom line, DeRozan outplayed LeBron.

The Lakers have been wildly inconsistent this season, failing to put a strong run together for the entirety of the season so far. Granted, them losing players to COVID-19 was not going to help. But given that many teams have been struggling with this, and the Bulls even had more players in the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols, that is not a valid excuse for the Lakers.

For LA, this loss has to serve as a wake-up call for them and especially given their recent inconsistency.

Many fans are wondering at what point will the Lakers be able to figure things out. Their team was clearly built with the ambition of winning an NBA championship. But as of now, they have not looked like a championship-caliber team, and run the risk of not winning an NBA title.
