Skip Bayless Immediately Tries To Discredit The Bucks Win As Giannis Antetokounmpo And Milwaukee Celebrate NBA Championship: “With Kawhi, The Clippers Would’ve Won This Finals”

As Milwaukee goes long into the night with their celebrations, one man will not be joining in on their euphoric celebrations. NBA analyst Skip Bayless shared his thoughts on Game 6 and the NBA Finals as a whole throughout the night. And as the final buzzer sounded and the Bucks won their first title in 50 years, Bayless decided to immediately rain on their parade.

As has become customary over the last two years, Skip chose to share his thoughts about the championship and Milwaukee. Skip had been vehement in his arguments that Milwaukee would not win the championship, and bet against them in the Finals and in the second round against the Brooklyn Nets. He had picked the LA Clippers and the Brooklyn Nets to win the title. And clearly, he isn’t too happy or impressed with the win for Giannis and co.

Bayless has been very critical of Antetokounmpo over the years, especially because of him coming up short during the playoffs. But now that Giannis has finally done what Skip didn’t think he could, Bayless is going in every direction other than a congratulatory one toward Giannis. His Tweets ranged a host of different subjects, including how the Clippers would be NBA Champions if Kawhi Leonard had been healthy, how the Brooklyn Nets could have easily beaten them if not for injuries, the Suns’ bad defensive gameplan for Giannis, and him warning the Bucks for next year about the Brooklyn Nets.

The Suns never forced Giannis to doubt. They let him play more and more freely, gain more and more confidence, feel like he owned the floor on both ends. Never seen anything quite like it.

With Kawhi, the Clippers would've won this Finals.

Weirdly, the Finals MVP isn't even the closer for his own team. That would be Khris Middleton.

This is all you need to know: Deandre Ayton had 12 points and 6 rebounds tonight. The man he was guarding had 50 and 14.

I'm guessing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden have been texting each other, "JUST WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR."

— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) July 21, 2021

If Kevin Durant's toes hadn't barely touched the 3-point line at the end of regulation in Game 7 vs Milwaukee, as he drained one of the greatest clutch shots in NBA playoff history, we'd be having a different conversation right now.

— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) July 21, 2021

Think about this: In Game 2 at Brooklyn, this same Milwaukee Bucks team lost by 39 points.

— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) July 21, 2021

Bottom line: The Suns' defensive strategy on Giannis was the dumbest in Finals history.

— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) July 21, 2021

Skip Bayless is an extremely controversial figure in the world of sports. Fans either love him or hate him. But he doesn’t seem to care because they still watch his thoughts on ‘Undisputed’. Tonight, much like last year, Bayless didn’t give the winning team their flowers. But rather, he chose to lash out in different directions as he was once again proven wrong by a player he doesn’t rate highly. But no one in Milwaukee will care, as they are NBA champions now. And no one, even despite Bayless’ best efforts, can take that away from them.
