Snoop Dogg Says Phoenix Suns Will Win NBA Finals

The 2021 NBA playoffs haven’t been easy to predict. Many of the teams we thought would make it to the end were eliminated in the first few rounds.

And now, with Milwaukee and Phoenix, it’s really a toss-up as to who might walk away with the ultimate prize.

But in a short chat with TMZ, famous rapper and notorious basketball fan, Snoop Dogg, made his prediction, calling the series in the Suns’ favor, just shy of a sweep.

“…I don’t know about sweeping, but I think they could win it. I’m happy for Chris Paul and Booker.”

It should be noted that Snoop is a pretty hard-core Lakers fan. There are several clips of him repping his team, including this classic clip of him celebrating during Kobe’s final game:

The Lakers were bounced in the first round, and he was pretty harsh on them.

But with the Clippers gone, it seems he’s rooting for Phoenix to take the throne — just like the majority of fans.

After being in the gutter for so many years, the Suns are the feel-good story of the league, and their grittiness, passion, and pass-first playstyle have really won a lot of people over.

At least, for now, Snoop has hopped on that bandwagon.
