Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Lakers aren’t the only people finding themselves in the news today.
Quietly, the Minnesota Timberwolves are facing problems of their own. Last summer, the Wolves went big, acquiring Jimmy Butler, Jamal Crawford, and Taj Gibson to pair alongside Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns. According to Sean Deveney, Butler has had issues with Wiggins’ work ethic and defensive efforts.
Couple things from poking around on @Timberwolves
1. Jimmy Butler (up for extension) is not a fan of playing w Wiggins.
2. Tyus Jones met w Thibs last month, considered requesting a trade. But TJ was assured he'd get more opportunity w Crawford gone:https://t.co/kI8WleBbzZ

With these reports circulating, it’s getting obvious that trouble is looming for the Wolves. After a very disappointing season, many fans were hopeful that the team would turn it around after building chemistry.
Yet, at this point, it’s appearing that Minnesota is headed downhill, with internal problems already brewing. Perhaps the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes have started earlier than we all thought they would.
