Spencer Dinwiddie And DeAndre Jordan Test Positive For Coronavirus

1 Min Read

The Brooklyn Nets got an invite to Orlando, but they’ll be going hobbled and in pieces as several of their best players are now compromised due to Coronavirus.

The report was dropped by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Dinwiddie and Jordan are just two of the latest in a long line of players to test positive in the past few weeks. As the league began issuing tests for every team, this result was expected.

Jordan has decided to opt-out of playing in Orlando while Dinwiddie is still making up his mind.

The situation continues to get worse for Brooklyn who will have to play without DeAndre, and (of course) Kevin Durant. As a result, it is unlikely they will be able to go very far this season, especially since the path the Finals includes the Bucks, Raptors, and Sixers.

It’s an unfortunate situation for them, but also a reminder to the rest of the world that COVID-19 doesn’t care about being kind or fair. Anyone is at risk and anyone can suffer the consequences that come with infection.
