Steph Curry On What He Was Doing At 19-Years-Old: “I Was Searching For Frat Parties At Davidson…”

1 Min Read

Despite the Warriors’ struggles this season, young stud James Wiseman has been giving fans a lot of hope and optimism about the future.

At 19-years-old, he has emerged as a core member of the team, averaging 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 0.6 assists on 52.2% shooting.

Reacting to his young teammate, Warriors superstar Steph Curry lauded Wiseman’s maturity and play at such a young age, hilariously comparing it to where he was during that time in his life:

Considering 19-year-old Curry was lighting up the college scene at Davidson, becoming one of the highest-ranked prospects in the nation, he’s being a bit modest about his status at that age.

Still, it’s incredible how Wiseman has looked so far. As a consistent and steady force for the Dubs, he’s already in the territory of a rising star.

The hope is, with some further development to his game, he can be the final piece the team needs to get back on track and into title contention. Once Klay Thompson returns healthy, this Warriors team is going to be one to fear.

No doubt, Wiseman will have a huge role to play.
