Steph Curry Reacts To Play-In Loss: “Very Tough Way To End It.”

After an MVP-worthy campaign, Steph Curry’s season has officially come to an end.

Without Klay Thompson, Curry and Draymond were left to try and make things work with a highly depleted roster — a far cry from where they were just a few years ago.

Despite amazing performances from the two stars, and getting to within one win of advancing to the playoffs, the Dubs were eliminated by the young Grizzlies, prompting Curry to hang his head in defeat.

“This is very unfamiliar territory,” Steph said. “Very tough way to end it.”

Indeed, this wasn’t a very poetic ending for Steph and his crew.

After clawing and scratching their way to the 8th seed, people expected the Warriors to close things out and lock up a playoff spot. And after losing a tight contest against L.A., they were heavy favorites to get the win over Memphis.

Instead, they got defeated by the younger, less experienced team on their home court.

Obviously, a bitter way to end what was a pretty rough season for Dub Nation.

Hopefully, now, the team can look ahead and gear up for next year, when Klay (and hopefully some more reinforcements) will be there to make amends.
