Stephen A. Smith Says He’s Worried About NBA Restart Because Players Will Have A Hard Time Being Without Their Women

Many concerns have been raised about the NBA restart in Orlando next month. From the BLM movement to the COVI-19 pandemic, it seems there are no shortage of obstacles to tackle before the season is finally able to continue.

But on First Take this morning, expert NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith shared another reason why he’s worried about the Orlando restart: women. Or, better yet, the lack of women.

.@stephenasmith is worried about the lack of …. uh …. distractions available to players in the bubble 😂😭😂 pic.twitter.com/Og1zTegNNu

One of the conditions of the restart is that players have minimal contact with anyone on the outside world — that includes their families, significant others, and (yes) any other “services” that require unnecessary contact.

It seems like Smith is proposing that it’ll be tough for players to go without some kind interactions females (whether they are single or not) and that some players may even break the “quarantine rules” of the bubble in order to chase some tail. It might sound ridiculous, but it’ll probably get pretty lonely in Orlando and guys with the means will look for ways to entertain themselves if they’re bored.

Obviously, there isn’t a real solution to this and the expectation from the NBA is that the players just have to deal with being in quarantine until the season concludes.

So while Stephen A.’s point is certainly valid, players know what they have to do if they want to finish out this basketball season and we should all give them the benefit of the doubt that they can handle the “bubble” for a few months.
