Steve Kerr has proven time and time again that he's one of the coolest NBA figures. Even during his playing days, he was very easygoing, while never losing his competitive spirit. 

Now that he coaches the Golden State Warriors, Kerr is older and more mature, but he keeps that juvenile spirit that makes him joke about almost anything. He's a down-to-earth guy that doesn't hesitate to greet fans, even when he's doing family things. Recently, one fan tried to get Kerr's attention by using a photo of the head coach on his cellphone. 

A recent video shows a group of fans and one of them is looking for a Kerr picture to lay his cellphone on the window of a restaurant and see if that got Steve's attention. At first, nobody believed Kerr would notice them, but his family did and instantly brought that matter to his attention. 

Kerr had a great reaction, waving at the fans, before moving his arms effusively to show his excitement. 

This was a wholesome moment, and many fans praised the 3x NBA champion coach, with some telling stories of when they met Kerr, while the rest just celebrated Steve being a cool guy.

I got to meet Steve Kerr at a Arizona Diamondbacks game. He had a seat right in front of me and was with his children. I wanted to say hi but didn't want to disturb while he was with his children. Then his kids left to go get snacks and got to talk to him and without asking he offered to sign something and I had a baseball he signed 😅. Super nice guy and great to talk to. I am from Boston though and my Celtics need to beat him and the warriors! Go Celts!!

This was so cool to watch and we're pretty sure these moments will keep happening knowing how approachable Kerr is. Meanwhile, he's getting ready for Game 6 of the Finals. His Golden State Warriors are one win away from the 2022 NBA championship and hope to close things out in Boston on Thursday night. 

If the Dubs win that game and the series, we'll probably see Kerr do that celebration with his arms, but it's too early to say.
