Playing against Giannis Antetokoumpo isn’t something that any NBA player particularly looks forward to, and it’s not just because of his dominance.

Giannis is a physical player, and his playstyle at times leaves his opponents in some pain, and for Torrey Craig, it came in the form of a dislodged tooth. Fans reacted to the incident, and they weren’t happy.

“Send NBA the dental bill.” said a fan who wants Craig to bill the NBA for his treatment!

“Giannis wasn’t called for a foul, actually pathetic.” said a fan who was disgusted that a foul wasn’t called there.

“They need to start calling fouls on Giannis now this is ridiculous!” a fan feels the officials need to do a better job of reffing Antetokounmpo.

“I was surprised they didn’t call a foul on Torrey’s tooth.” a fan sarcastically stated, as Giannis had a lot of calls go in his favor.

“This is not even basketball that he’s playing at this point, it’s f***ing football.” replied another angry fan who thinks Giannis is making a football play.

As Craig tried to stop Giannis from getting to the basket in the third quarter of the game between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks, Antetokounmpo hit him in the face, and he lost one of his teeth. Craig was visibly in pain after it and found his missing tooth on the floor.

Craig stayed in the game and finished the night with 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block. The Suns, meanwhile, would go on to lose this contest 116-104 as Giannis finished with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists to lead the Bucks to victory.

Monty Williams Blasted The Referees After The Suns Lost To The Bucks

The Suns felt that a lot of the calls went against them in the game, and head coach Monty Williams blasted the officials after the loss. Giannis attempted more free throws than all his players combined, and Williams said it was ridiculous

Antetokounmpo attempted 24 free throws, and the Bucks had 37 in total, while the Suns only shot 16. Williams went on to state that this is always the case when they play the Bucks and lamented the fact that the likes of Devin Booker don’t get calls.

Monty is clearly frustrated at the moment, as this made it three straight defeats since Kevin Durant got injured. The Suns don’t have a lot of depth after trading for KD, and they cannot compete against some of the better teams in the league without him. They are in a rough spot at the moment, as they would want Durant back on the court, but at the same time, they don’t want to risk him reinjuring his ankle by rushing back. With that in mind, it would appear KD will only be back with a few games remaining in the regular season, so it is up to this group to make sure that the Suns make it into the playoffs.
