The Best Scenario That NBA Fans Want To See: Miami Heat Sign Dwyane Wade So He Can Play Against LeBron James In The NBA Finals

2 Min Read

Since Dwyane Wade hung up his jersey last summer, the dude has been living his best life. Making appearances as an analyst on TNT, interacting with the fans through Twitter, and spending time with his loving family have probably made retirement a pretty sweet time for the former Miami Heat star.

But with the Lakers and Heat set to face off in the Finals this season, the community can’t help but imagine what it might be like to have him return to his former team and help them take down his best friend LeBron James.

Since Wade and LeBron were both in the East for the vast majority of their careers, we never got to see them battle it out in the Finals. In fact, they have never faced each other even once in the playoffs — and it’s a true shame.

Not only were they friends, but they were also two of the best players in the league for a while. To see them go at it with all the stakes on the line would have been awesome.

This season, even under the current circumstances, it’d still be pretty sweet to have Wade there to heckle King James.

But, unfortunately, it’s more on the side of fantasy than anything. Wade has put his playing days behind him and there’s no reason to believe he’ll open that door again. And why should he?

We’ll just have to keep that scenario in our heads.
