As one of the biggest and most notorious agencies out there, Klutch Sports is just one of those entities that has taken over the NBA landscape.
And while they are really good at attracting players into their web, they often get a lot of heat for their connection to LeBron James, who is best friends with the founder, Rich Paul. Whether by coincidence or not, a large chunk of the players who have signed with Klutch have later been tied to LeBron James or the Lakers.
In fact, the defending Champs have housed eight Klutch clients on their roster since 2019, the most of any team in the league during that span.
The Lakers have now employed eight Klutch Sports clients since LeBron James signed in 2019: James, Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Talen Horton-Tucker, Dion Waiters, J.R. Smith, Montrezl Harrell and now Ben McLemore.

Lonzo Ball is a Klutch client now, but he wasn't when he played for the Lakers, so I didn't count him.

Interestingly, all of the players mentioned above, all of them joined Klutch Sports after signing with the Lakers.
Obviously, this doesn’t necessarily bode well for those who were hoping to split the agency from the “LeBron-controlled” label but, overall, it’s hard to say things haven’t been mutually beneficial for Klutch, the Lakers, and the players involved.
It seems joining the K.S. family is just the thing to do when you’re hopping on the Bron bandwagon. Why slow down now?
