Tobias Harris Hilariously Clarifies He’s Getting Married Today But Not With Boban Marjanovic: “Today I Get To Marry My Best Friend!!!!”

2 Min Read

Tobias Harris is living one of the best days of his life today, as he’s ready to tie the knot and get a ring, although it won’t be an NBA one. Still, the Philadelphia 76ers must be pretty excited to become a married man, and he couldn’t help but show his excitement on social media.

The talented power forward took to Twitter to send a message to his fans, sharing his happiness with the world as he gets to marry his best friend.

“Today I get to marry my best friend!!!! ☀️ ⭐️,” Harris wrote on Twitter.

However, when he mentioned his ‘best friend’ a lot of people thought he meant Boban Marjanovic, with whom he’s had a bromance for a while now. These two have starred in wholesome and hilarious moments over the years, and fans had another sample of that.

Harris had to come out and set the record straight, saying he’s not marrying the Serbian big man in another message.

“Just to clarify @BobanMarjanovic and I are not getting married ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ,” he tweeted just two minutes later.

It was a hilarious moment like these two usually give fans. Boban Marjanovic is part of the 2022 roster for the Serbian national team that will play in the Eurobasket this year, so it’s unclear if he can make it to the long-anticipated wedding.

Even though he misses his best friend’s wedding, Boban must be happy that Tobias is happy and must be wishing him nothing but the best. This offseason, the Serbian giant was traded to the Houston Rockets in the move that landed Christian Wood in Dallas, ending his tenure on the Mavericks.

Meanwhile, Harris is getting ready to face a new challenge with the Philadelphia 76ers, who look very dangerous ahead of the 2022/23 season.

As for now, Tobias is focused on his big day, as he aspires to get the first of two rings he can collect in the next 12 months.
