Tom Brady Hilariously Described The Inside The NBA Crew: “I Told Shaq When I Had Dinner With Him… The Best Camaraderie… It’s Like A Very Dysfunctional Thanksgiving Family Dinner.”

3 Min Read

Sports fans were treated to something special on Sunday, as the Inside the NBA crew was joined by star quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers prior to Game 3 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors. The two were on the show to promote “The Match” which is set to take place on the 1st of June.

Brady’s name had actually been brought up previously on the show too, when Charles Barkley somewhat admitted to having a bit of a crush on the star quarterback, saying that he doesn’t remember anything that Brady says after they make eye contact. The topic was brought up here as you would expect and it led to some laughs as usual. The quarterback also shared his appreciation for the show, stating how much he loves it and how everyone else seems to try and emulate them.

“Speaking of that, I love your guys’ show. I told Shaq when I had dinner with him a few weeks ago how great a show it is. The best camaraderie, I think everybody in television tries to emulate what you guys do, so keep it up. It’s like a very dysfunctional Thanksgiving family dinner. You guys are doing very well.”

That does seem a very apt description of what Inside the NBA feels like more often than not and it is high praise coming from someone as accomplished as Tom Brady. Brady is widely regarded as the GOAT in the NFL and many would tend to agree that Inside the NBA is the best there is on offer when it comes to sports talk shows.

They have made the playoffs a blast to watch as they always tend to do, and it is a bit sad that we won’t be able to enjoy it for much longer, as the season winds down. Here is hoping that the Mavericks-Warriors series extends a little bit, so we get to see these guys on our screens for just that little while longer.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
