Trae Young is one of the most divisive superstars in the NBA today. Some people love Trae Young for his brazen attitude and his cool demeanor during high-pressure situations. Whereas some fans believe that he tries to showboat too much during games. One fan in attendance in Las Vegas clearly didn’t like Trae, and let him know about it.

During the announcement of the new NBA mid-season tournament, Trae Young was one of the players responsible for unveiling the groups for the tournament. During this unveiling, one fan shouted “f**k Trae Young” from the crowd. Trae Young had a calm and hilarious response to the fan.

“I like that.”

Trae Young showed calmness and coolness during this exchange, and as a result, made himself look really good. Young has shown that he can handle hate and negativity from fans very well, even using it to fuel his performances on the basketball court on a regular basis.

Trae Young Embraces Being An NBA Villain

Trae Young has shown that he enjoys being a villain in the NBA. One can look at his first playoff series against the New York Knicks, where he drew the ire of a rabid Madison Square Garden, even getting a fan to spit on him out of anger. And Trae responded by dominating the Knicks and eliminating them from the playoffs.

Trae Young has also been a player who has gone under the radar over the last two years. His performances haven’t been as good as they used to be.

But during this playoff series, he showed why he can be so dangerous, pushing the Celtics to 6 games in the first round after somehow making their way out of the play-in tournament.

Trae Young has recently been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers. Paring Young with superstar players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis could make the Lakers favorites for the NBA championship.
