And to top it all off, there was no apology for the ESPN analyst, to which the latter took to Twitter: “Love all of my brothers on @NBAonTNT. But I’m gonna get @SHAQ and Chuck for comparing me with Derrick White. Y’all are gonna pay for that.”

The TNT crew has always been the ones calling the jokes on other people, and it will be interesting to see how Smith gets his revenge.

Stephen A. Smith Has Been One Of The More Iconic TV Personalities

Over the years, Stephen A. Smith has been one of the household names for his eccentric and unique style of analysis. Not to mention, he’s also one to not mince words calling a spade a spade, and that has earned him bouquets and brickbats in equal measure.

Earlier, the man made headlines for claiming he had the perfect replacement for his podcast.

Smith also wished that he would at some stage take over hosting the late-night show. â€œI would love to be the heir apparent to Jimmy Kimmel. I believe I could do it. I would throw everybody for a loop, my politics would throw people off because I’d be fair to everybody and I’d listen to everybody. It wouldn’t be one-sided, I’m not a one-sided kind of guy. I’m one-sided on issues, I’m not one-sided on ideology.”

It would certainly be interesting to see how Smith fares on the Late night show especially when he’s one of the more hard-hitting personalities sharing his thoughts on a variety of topics.
