The NBA return is closer every day and people already started to speculate about what’s going to happen in Orlando when the 22 teams start competing again for the Larry O’Brien trophy. One of the biggest topics in recent days involves players and how they’re going to respect or disrespect the rules once they’re at Walt Disney World.
Some might say it will be hard given their active lifestyle when they’re not playing ball while others see the bubble as the continuation of what they were already doing. That’s the case of Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker, who doesn’t see how the bubble will change his current life.
“I think we’re going to be pretty safe and secluded in the bubble,” Kemba said, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic.
“I’m a single man with no kids, so I’ma be fine. All I do is stay in the house anyways, so there’s nothing wrong with me staying in the room. I’m actually looking forward to it cause I’m ready to play basketball. And it’s going to be set up so we can have fun.”
Walker is pretty confident that he will respect the rules without any problem. He’s been in quarantine since the league entered hiatus, he got used to that type of life and that won’t change anytime soon. The point guard is ready to take his Celtics to compete in the East alongside Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and co.
Kemba will lead one of the favorite teams to win the East, but the competition will be hard with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors.
