Kemba Walker: “It’s Rare, Very Rare To See Bron Walking By Himself And Being Comfortable”

The NBA bubble is a rare experience for all the players who traveled to Orlando for the NBA return. This experience is new for some of them, refreshing for others and odd for a big part of them. Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker recently reflected on what the bubble means for ballers, giving a huge example of how it can affect LeBron James.

Bron is the most famous basketball player on earth and one of the most famous athletes alive, so, wherever he goes, he’s always chased by people trying to talk to him or get an autograph or being a troll. Talking with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, Kemba revealed how he recently spotted LeBron being very comfortable at the bubble.

“Whenever you go downstairs, you’re going to see somebody,” Walker said. “Like, the other night, me and J.T. (Jayson Tatum) was walking to get some food and we seen Bron. We seen Bron walk in. We seen Bron, J.R. [Smith], Jared Dudley and Kuz (Kyle Kuzma). It’s rare. It’s very rare to see Bron walking by himself and being comfortable. Like, I was telling somebody that he probably haven’t done that since he was probably nine years old. Like being able to be so comfortable just walking around and not worrying about people coming up to him and being bothered, asking for something. Now, he’s just regular, you know? Not regular, but he’s able to be comfortable and walk around comfortably, so I think that’s pretty cool.”

The bubble has given LeBron freedom that he hasn’t experienced in years. He’s just focused on the mission, bring a championship to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, he’ll try to have the best possible time, hanging out with teammates and even rivals. He has to take the most advantage of it because hopefully, there won’t be another bubble ever in the league.

Before the NBA suspended the season in March, the Lakers were arguably the best team in the league. Boasting a 49-14 record, they are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. This season Bron is averaging 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.9 rebounds per game.

The Celtics are also one of the favorites in the East. If they make it to the Finals, he could see LeBron in the biggest stage, too.
