In light of their crushing collapse in the 2020 playoffs, many questions have been raised regarding the future of the LA Clippers. With Tyronn Lue taking over head coaching duties, the seeds of change have already blossomed for the franchise.

And, according to one NBA executive, we can expect more of the same in the weeks and months to come.

“The Clippers are going to break this up whether you like it or not. I heard from the inside source they’re all going to break this up. They are going to break this up.”

20 NBA agents open up about star trades, free agency, the draft and the biggest disappointments in the bubble.

After acquiring Paul George and Kawhi Leonard last summer, the Clippers had aspirations of winning their first-ever NBA Championship. With the best roster in basketball, an experienced coach, and an enthusiastic owner, many believed they were in a position to meet their goals.

Unfortunately, they fell short in the bubble playoffs after blowing their 3-1 series lead against Denver in the Conference Semi-Finals.

Every moment since has been nothing but uncertainty for the franchise, as they continue to look for answers in the aftermath of what may have been one of the biggest failures in NBA history. At the very least, we can expect a few notable names to be donning new jerseys next season.

At most, the 2020-21 Clippers roster may be something completely and utterly new.
