The Most Powerful, Impossible And Unbeatable NBA Team With 4 Superstars: Endgame

During the 2010s, we saw some of the best superteams of all time. We started with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh leading the Miami Heat to a pair of titles. We saw Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Lebron team up to lead Cleveland to their first title. Of course, we cannot forget the dynasty of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant.

The combination of Curry, Thompson, and Green helped lead the Golden State Warriors to an NBA-record 73 wins despite not winning the NBA title. What team in the future could stop that? This idea could be the league’s first undefeated regular season team if it ever came to fruition.

End Game

In Avengers, Thanos was the all-mighty being that nearly took down the entire universe. This super team would take down the entire complexity of the NBA. As December opened, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo broke social media with his response to Cosmote TV. He said on Twitter, “If LeBron, KD, or AD want to join me in Milwaukee, I will be happy. I don’t care about being number 1, or number 2, or number 3″.

A lot of information to process here. For starters, this team would have a two-year window given that LeBron is going to be 36 years old at the start of next season. Even at the tail end of LeBron’s career, this would be a tantalizing starting lineup.

The team would likely feature LeBron as the team’s point guard. He showed that last season he was able to make a steady transition to that spot and averaged a career-high 10.3 assists to go with his 25.3 points per game. Durant would be the team’s small forward, which is his natural position. Durant last played in 2018 and missed all of last season with a rupture in his Achilles. On the floor, Durant averaged 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.

Moving towards the frontcourt, that would mean based on Giannis’ assumption, he would move away from playing power forward and let Davis take his natural position. While Davis is a talent that can produce 20 points and 10 rebounds a night, his defense is highly underrated. His 2.3 blocks were a factor in why he was in the top-3 for Defensive Player of the Year. We should probably mention that Davis did an average of 26.5 points per season.

The former MVP and Defensive Player of the Year Giannis would likely slide to the center, but he paints is where he lives anyway. Giannis averaged 29.5 points and 13.6 rebounds on route to winning his second MVP award.

How Many Championships They Could Win Together?

Out of four players, that is a combined 107.3 points per game right there. These four players alone would have scored more points than the Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, and Charlotte Hornets last season. The question would be how the franchise would surround the talent with what is left of the remaining cap space.

In reality, if these four players were together, veterans would line up to take the veterans minimum to play on this team. Some players that come to mind are Rajon Rondo, Jared Dudley, and even 42-year old Jamal Crawford would find a way to stay in shape.

The question is not how many championships this team would win. It would be for how long? Dynasties don’t last long in the league because players know they can maximize their worth. If the team wanted to play together, the sky’s the limit and this team would win the championship every year. With money involved, this would be a two-year winning spree that would see no less than five losses in an overall season.

That’s only because the old guys need to rest.

What Else Could This Team Accomplish?

The record for wins is 73, set by the Warriors during the 2015-2016 season. That was a complete team that featured the big three in Curry, Thompson, and Green, but also complementary role players that included Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, and Harrison Barnes. Beating a team that only lost nine games in a season would prove to be difficult, but this team would 100% beat that record for wins.

This hypothetical team would essentially be an All-Star team. The scores of the last All-Star Games have gone as followed:

157-155 (2020)

178-264 (2019)

148-145 (2018)

192-182 (2017)

196-173 (2016)

Granted, the all roster for an All-Star team is made up of high-quality players, but how would any team stop this team offensively? With Giannis and Davis on the floor, how would any team score in the paint?

Let’s take a look at a regular Bucks schedule for a moment. In the Eastern Conference, the Bucks play the Hawks, Hornets, Cavaliers, Pistons, Knicks, Magic, and Wizards three times each. The Bucks play the Bulls four times, so altogether that is 25 wins at least. Also played three times are the Celtics, Heat, 76ers, and Raptors, while the Pacers are played four times. While these games would be more competitive, realistically the team would probably lose one or two against these teams, most likely to either the Celtics or Heat. The Nets play the Bucks twice, but they would not be a threat if Durant left Brooklyn.

For the Western Conference teams, the Bucks play each team twice. Out of the Western Conference, the only viable threat would be the Clippers at this point if the team holds onto Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The Nuggets, Mavericks, and Warriors pose intrigue if their core remains intact, but out of these teams, the superteam would lose two games at the most.

Durant would be the scoring champion in the league, while LeBron would be the league’s leader in assists. Davis and Giannis would go one-two in Defensive Player of the Year rankings, while Giannis would be the league’s leading rebounder as he shifts to more of a true center’s role. Here’s the best part. The team would sign J.R. Smith and he would be the team’s primary sixth man off the bench.

There’s not a single team in the Eastern Conference that would dethrone the Bucks and this would be the greatest team ever assembled in NBA history.
