1 Min Read

Zion Williamson is looking a lot better right now after all the criticism he received for his weight. He had some problems during the bubble and couldn’t play in the last games of the New Orleans Pelicans in Orlando. Zion kept receiving bad comments about his body but the still rookie sensation is ready to change the narrative this upcoming season.

The Pelicans shared a photo of Zion on social media and the forward looks in great shape ahead of training camp. The Duke product is ready to play his first full season in the NBA and the Pelicans are excited to have the gifted players with them since day one.

He’s lost a couple of pounds since the Pels were eliminated from contention in the bubble and now is looking very good. Zion is the longest-tenured Pelican on the roster and he must bring his A-Game and leadership this season to help his team transcend in the association.

David Griffin has expressed the team’s desire is to to use Zion as a small forward and with his new physique, that possibility looks more likely than ever.
