Steph Curry On Warriors Blowout Loss To The Bucks: “We Are Just Not Anywhere Close To Championship Level.”

1 Min Read

The Golden State Warriors had high hopes of reclaiming their status as title contenders this season. Unfortunately, after Klay Tompson got sidelined with another major injury, their ceiling seems to have taken a pretty significant hit.

In their first two games of the season, the Dubs got absolutely obliterated — losing by 26 points on Tuesday to the Nets and 39 points on Friday to the Bucks.

After their most recent loss, Steph Curry expressed major disappointment, citing that his squad was “not anywhere close” to being a Championship team.

Considering all the new acquisitions, it could take some real time for the Warriors to get things together. We’re seeing that play out before our eyes, and even Curry himself has preached patience.

This is obviously not the start fans were hoping for. Even without Klay, the Warriors seem to have enough talent to make some waves in the West. Clearly, they’re just not yet there.

Whether or not they’ll get there at all this season remains a huge question mark.
