Tom Thibodeau Is Angry And Frustrated With Trae Young’s Foul-Drawing Technique

Trae Young is taking his game and his Atlanta Hawks to the next level this season and the point guard isn’t stopping there. In only his third season in the association, Trae has improved his level a lot and now is ready to compete in the Eastern Conference.

He’s getting some criticism recently, though, as Young has been using some techniques that aren’t very appreciated by rival players and coaches. During a recent game against the New York Knicks, Young once again showed off his foul-drawing techniques and nobody on the Knicks was happy with him or the referees. One of those was Tom Thibodeau, who was frustrated with Young’s tricks and he didn’t hesitate to vent his frustrations mid-game.

He was spotted by cameras explaining to a ref what Young was doing and how he got all those calls.

This is something that has raised a lot of eyebrows around the league. Before this game, Steve Nash had criticized Young and his techniques, even claiming that wasn’t basketball.

Young is a very talented player that can do a lot with the ball in his hands but this is something controversial. It seems like he’s getting used to creating controversy, though, as last season some players weren’t happy with him nutmegging them during games.

Well, this is the new generation of basketball and somethings won’t sit well with old-school people. Still, trying to get that contact the way Trae and more players around the league do, doesn’t feel so right.
